Como stunned Napoli on penalties, booking their Coppa Italia semi-finals spot for the first time in 40 years! Cesc Fabregas's men were clinical, ending Napoli's hopes and sending Conte's side packing.

Napoli's first-half slade left them chasing the game.

Napoli struggled in the first 45, creating little and looking vulnerable. Stanislav Lobotka's shot was the closest they came, but it was an easy catch for Jean Butez.

Como took control after the half-hour, testing Vanja Milinkovic-Savic with half-chances from Nico Paz and Maximo Perrone.

The Croatian fullback was given a let off, however, after a lengthy VAR review found that he was brought down by Mathias Olivera and Como were awarded a penalty kick. Martin Baturina stepped up and buried his spot kick into the bottom-left corner

Napoli got off to the best possible start in the second half as they drew level just 43 seconds after the restart. Rasmus Hojlund flick-on sent Antonio Vergara through on goal and showed brilliant composure to coolly slot past Butez.

Como looked to restore their advantage and came close to doing so just before the hour mark when Jayden Addai broke through on goal, but after being forced wide, his effort from a tight angle was saved by Milinkovic-Savic.

Following the hour mark, neither side looked likely to net a second goal as both defences cancelled each other out, resulting in little goalmouth action.

Como's Mergim Vojvoda had a late shot tipped over by Napoli's goalkeeper, but it wasn't enough to change the outcome. The match went to penalties, where Como took an early lead after scoring their first two spot kicks.

Romelu Lukaku missed Napoli's third penalty, giving Como an advantage, but Maximo Perrone's effort was denied by Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, sending the shootout into sudden death.

Como's dream continued as Butez saved Lobotka's penalty, sending them to the semis! Fabregas's men are ecstatic, while Conte's Napoli face a tough Serie A title chase.

Conte's side are out of two cups in two weeks, leaving Serie A as their only shot.
