Barcelona made a stunning comeback to beat Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 in the UEFA Champions League, thanks to Jules Kounde's two headers. The French defender's goals in the second half overturned Frankfurt's early lead, securing Barcelona's first-ever win over the Bundesliga team and extending Frankfurt's winless streak to four games.

Barcelona dominated the opening period, pressing Frankfurt intensely and creating chances, but they fell behind in the 21st minute when Ansgar Knauff scored for Frankfurt. However, Kounde's heroics in the second half, with goals in the 50th and 53rd minutes, turned the game around for Barcelona.

Robert Lewandowski thought he had scored in the 10th minute, but his volley was ruled out for offside. Gerard Martín then had a shot from distance, which Frankfurt's goalkeeper Michael Zetterer saved well.

Eintracht Frankfurt took the lead in the 21st minute through Ansgar Knauff, who received a great pass from Nathaniel Brown and beat Joan García with a low shot. This marked a turning point in the game, with Frankfurt pushing for more chances.

Barcelona kept pushing forward despite the early setback, but their finishing was lacking. Frankfurt's defense was well-organized, particularly around Lamine Yamal, who was often double-marked. Pedri and Raphinha tried to find ways to break through, but the Germans held firm. In stoppage time, Knauff set up a great chance for Ellyes Skhiri, whose powerful shot just went over.

Frankfurt started the second half on the front foot, creating two good chances in the first two minutes, showing they weren't going to sit back and defend. Raphinha had a chance to score, but he ballooned Marcus Rashford's cut-back over the bar. However, this proved to be a brief respite for Frankfurt, as Rashford delivered a great cross for Jules Kounde to head home the equalizer. The French defender then scored again two minutes later, with Frankfurt's defenders seemingly frozen in place.

In the final stages of the match, Raphinha had a shot that was safely caught by Zetterer, and Barcelona continued to press forward. Frankfurt, on the other hand, was forced to resort to long balls in search of an equalizer. The hosts were in control, and despite some moments of concern, they eased to victory.

This result is consistent with the pattern seen in previous matches for both teams. A whopping 10 out of Barcelona's 14 Champions League goals this season have come in the second half, while 12 of the last 14 goals Frankfurt has conceded in the competition have also been scored in the second half.
