Lille thrash Dinamo Zagreb to get back to winning ways in the Europa League...
Lille bounced back from consecutive defeats in the UEFA Europa League Group Phase to return to winning ways with a convincing 4-0 victory over GNK Dinamo Zagreb.
Looking to win their fourth home game in a row, Lille dominated the early exchanges but were given an early fright when the visitors had the ball in the back of the net on seven minutes. Monsef Bakrar did well to power a header home at the back post, but it was clear he had pushed Thomas Meunier with both hands to engineer the space, and it was immediately ruled out by referee John Beaton.
Lille's patience paid off in the 21st minute when Felix Correia scored a composed goal, slipping the ball between Ivan Filipovic's legs after a great pass from Hakon Haraldsson. This sparked Lille into life, and they went on to dominate the game.

Lille's dominance paid off with a second goal 10 minutes before halftime, thanks to a brilliant piece of play from Hamza Igamane. He fooled the Dinamo defense with a clever pass to Ngal'ayel Mukau, who scored to make it 2-0. After the break, Lille continued to control the game, and Filipovic made a great save from Haraldsson, but Igamane scored again to seal the win with a well-placed shot.
Lille kept pushing for more goals and got a fourth in the 86th minute when Benjamin Andre scored from a loose ball. This win boosts Lille's chances of progressing, moving them to 9 points. Dinamo still has a good chance to advance with 7 points but will likely need another win to confirm qualification.
