BK Hacken's impressive seven-game unbeaten streak was snapped by RC Strasbourg, who secured a 1-0 win at Gamla Ullevi in the UEFA Conference League. Hacken had a promising start, but Strasbourg gradually took control, with Rafael Luis creating an early threat with a curling shot from distance.
Strasbourg's dominance paid off when Julio Enciso scored the decisive goal in the 21st minute, capitalizing on Hacken's defensive lapse. Despite a late surge from the hosts, Strasbourg held on to secure the win, with John Paul Dembe equalizing in the 61st minute, but it was too little, too late, as Strasbourg took the points with a 2-1 lead at full-time.
The opener came shortly afterwards, with Martial Godo creating on the left flank. He delivered a pinpoint cross to Julio Enciso, who expertly guided the ball into the net, putting the home side ahead midway through the half. Hacken tried to equalize before half-time, but the French side looked comfortable in possession, safely carrying the lead into the break.
Liam Rosenior made three changes at the break, but Strasbourg's momentum continued, and they doubled their lead just before the hour mark. Martial Godo initially missed an opportunity, but he capitalized on a rebound to tap home at the second attempt, securing Strasbourg's 2-0 lead.
Hacken's hopes of a comeback were reignited when John Paul Dembe scored a crucial goal, capitalizing on Mike Penders' hesitation. Dembe's quick reaction allowed him to nip in and prod the ball past the keeper into the empty net, making the score 1-2 in favor of Strasbourg.
The final 10 minutes of the game were intense, with Hacken pushing hard for an equalizer and Strasbourg seeking to seal the win with a third goal. Despite their efforts, the visitors held on to secure a 2-1 victory, thanks to goals from Julio Enciso and Martial Godo.

Mikkel Rygaard's late effort came close, but Strasbourg held on for the win. The Danish midfielder's left-footed shot curled just over the bar, denying Hacken a much-needed equalizer.
The result leaves Hacken struggling to find their footing in the league phase, still searching for their first win after drawing their opening two games. Strasbourg, on the other hand, looks poised to secure a knockout phase spot, sitting comfortably in the top eight with seven points from three games.
