Bologna extend their unbeaten run to nine games with a 3-1 win over Udinese, with Tommaso Pobega's brace.

Bologna's impressive form continued as they beat Udinese 3-1, extending their unbeaten run to eight games. The Rossoblu were missing several key players, including Ciro Immobile, Emil Holm, and Lukasz Skorupski, but still managed to secure a convincing win.

Udinese, on the other hand, were paying tribute to the women in their lives as part of a campaign against violence against women. The players wore shirts with the names of their mothers, wives, sisters, or daughters, and sported red marks on their faces to show their support.

The game was intense from the start, with Benjamin Dominguez almost scoring in the opening minutes after a poor back-pass. Keinan Davis also had a chance, turning an acrobatic volley just wide from Hassane Kamara's cross.

Udinese's struggles continued as Federico Ravaglia made a crucial save from Jurgen Ekkelenkamp. However, Bologna was awarded a penalty after a VAR review, with Kingsley Ehizibue found guilty of elbowing Tommaso Pobega in the box.

Riccardo Orsolini took the penalty, but Maduka Okoye was equal to the task, saving the shot with a well-positioned dive. Orsolini's day didn't get much better, as he also had a cross-shot saved by Okoye and was later flagged offside after scoring from a Kamara error.

Orsolini's struggles continued, but Bologna's pressure eventually paid off.

Just before half-time, Jurgen Ekkelenkamp had a chance to score from a free kick, curling the ball towards the top corner but just missing the target. The game was intense, with Arthur Atta also having a strong run and his cross-shot being charged down.

Bologna broke the deadlock through Tommaso Pobega, who scored a well-taken goal. Riccardo Orsolini picked up a cross-field pass, cut inside, and rolled the ball across for Pobega to sweep into the far bottom corner from 15 yards.

Maduka Okoye's mistake gifted Bologna a second goal, as he struggled with the high press and gave the ball away, allowing Tommaso Pobega to pounce and score his second of the game. Bologna had earlier missed a chance to extend their lead, with Nadir Zortea's pass finding Giovanni Fabbian, who scuffed the ball wide from just seven yards out.

Bologna was dominating the game, and their pressure eventually paid off. Pobega's second goal was a great strike, and it looked like the Rossoblu were on their way to a comfortable win.

Bologna sealed the win with a late goal, Federico Bernardeschi scoring with the last kick of the game. Udinese's struggles playing out from the back were exposed again, and Thijs Dallinga's back-heel flick deflected the ball into Bernardeschi's path.

The Italian winger composed himself and scored, capping off a great win for Bologna. Udinese had chances to get back into the game, but they were unable to capitalize.
