Lamine Yamal also scored for Barca, who dominated possession but struggled with Celta's counter-attacks.

As the game reached its latter stages, Rashford’s corner found Lewandowski at the near post, and his guided header went in off the far post for the Polish international’s hat-trick goal.

Celta Vigo's efforts weren't enough to trouble Wojciech Szczesny, thanks to Barcelona's solid game management in the final minutes. Frenkie de Jong's stoppage-time red card was a slight damper, but the result puts Barcelona just three points behind leaders Real Madrid, who drew earlier in the day.
