Sean Dyche praises players for embracing physical side of game after Forest's win over Liverpool. Forest moves up to 16th in table with impressive win over defending champions Liverpool.

“Of course it is to be enjoyed, it is for the fans and the players, but we have to go again. Everything's not solved but it's a good, strong marker about this group...”

Nottingham Forest manager Sean Dyche praised his players for embracing the physical side of the game, which helped them secure a stunning 3-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield. Goals from Murillo, Nicolo Savona, and Morgan Gibbs-White handed Liverpool a sixth defeat in seven league games, with the Reds suffering their heaviest home league loss in over a decade.

Dyche's team showed great defensive grit and determination, and it paid off in the end. “We had to be at our best, and we were,” Dyche said, commending his players for their performance. The win is a big boost for Forest, and it's a blow to Liverpool's title hopes.

Steve Dyche has done a great job with Nottingham Forest, guiding them out of the relegation zone and up to 16th in the table since taking over in October. They've had a decent run, with two wins, a draw, and one loss in his four league games in charge.

“Of course it is to be enjoyed, it is for the fans and the players, but we have to go again. Everything's not solved but it's a good, strong marker about this group,” Dyche told reporters, staying grounded despite the recent success. He's right, there's still work to be done, but this is a positive step forward for Forest.

“Now they are committed to the cause. You wouldn't be a Premier League player if you don't have talent but what about the hard yards? The ugly side of the game? And staying focused on what the job is - I thought that was excellent.”

Nottingham Forest also handed Liverpool their only home defeat last season with a 1-0 win at Anfield. That victory was a significant blow to Liverpool's title hopes, but they still went on to win the league. This season, Forest has continued their impressive form against Liverpool, beating them 3-0 at Anfield

“Last year, this football club used it (their win at Anfield) as a catalyst and they carried on and we hope for that but it doesn't guarantee the next one,” Dyche said.

Nottingham Forest's got a busy schedule ahead! They take on Malmo FF in the Europa League on Thursday, and then host Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on November 30.
