Paris Saint-Germain delivered a stunning 7-2 thrashing of Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League. Despite both teams being reduced to 10 men, PSG's relentless attack proved too much for the German side.

The visitors dominated possession from the start and took the lead just seven minutes in. PSG's attack was spearheaded by Desire Doué, who scored twice, while Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Ousmane Dembele also made significant contributions to the win.

The match saw several intense moments, including two penalties awarded to PSG and a red card for Bayer Leverkusen's Robert Andrich. Despite the challenges, PSG maintained their perfect start to the season, with Vitinha scoring a crucial goal in the dying minutes to seal the win.

PSG's victory marked their fifth consecutive win in the Champions League, equaling their longest winning streak in the competition. The win also inflicted Bayer Leverkusen's first loss under Kasper Hjulmand, leaving them with just two points in the group stage.

Nuno Mendes set up the opening goal with a precise short corner kick that found Willian Pacho, who headed the ball home for his first PSG goal. The Argentine defender's header gave PSG the lead.

Bayer Leverkusen continued to pose threats, with Claudio Echeverri playing a pivotal role. His relentless pressure forced Ilya Zabarnyi into a handball, earning PSG a penalty. However, Alejandro Grimaldo's penalty kick hit the post, denying PSG an even greater advantage.

The hosts' momentum appeared to be severely disrupted when Robert Andrich was red-carded for elbowing Desire Doue in the face. However, Leverkusen's woes continued as Zabarnyi was also sent off for bringing down Christian Kofane, resulting in a second penalty. Aleix Garcia calmly slotted the penalty into the bottom corner.

PSG wasted no time in reasserting their dominance, capitalizing on the numerical advantage just three minutes later. A delightful move ended with Doue playing a precise pass to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who returned the ball to the former player. Doue then expertly guided the ball past Mark Flekken's reach, securing PSG's advantage.

Just three minutes later, PSG scored again, with Kvaratskhelia having a shot blocked before sending another into the net, hitting both posts in the process, effectively scoring a goal.

PSG continued to showcase their attacking prowess, scoring again before halftime. A swift move ended with Desire Doue creating space on the edge of the box and expertly placing the ball into the bottom corner.

The visitors maintained their dominance after the break, scoring another goal within five minutes. Vitinha played a clever pass to Nuno Mendes, who slipped through and shot past Mark Flekken despite the goalkeeper getting a hand to the ball.

Aleix Garcia flashed a stunning shot into the top corner, temporarily giving the hosts a glimmer of hope. However, their relief was short-lived, as Bradley Barcola's clever pass set up Ousmane Dembele for a clinical finish just three minutes after his return from injury.

Vitinha sealed the win with a stunning long-range strike, capping off an impressive evening for PSG. The victory marked their fifth consecutive Champions League win, equaling their longest winning streak in the competition.

The win also handed Kasper Hjulmand his first loss at the helm of Bayer Leverkusen, leaving Die Werkself with just two points in the Champions League group stage.
