Bayern's Dominant Performance
Bayern Munich maintained their perfect start to the season with a resounding 5-1 victory over Pafos at the Alphamega Stadium in Limassol, Cyprus. The match showcased Bayern's attacking prowess, with Harry Kane scoring a brace and Raphael Guerreiro, Nicolas Jackson, and Michael Olise adding to the scoreline.

However, the Englishman then opened the scoring minutes later, as he finished first-time into the far corner after Michael Olise threaded him through.

Raphael Guerreiro doubled the lead by finishing off a swift passing move with a delicate finish over Michail, and the man who passed to him, Nicolas Jackson, then scored his first Bayern goal by sweeping Olise’s pass into the bottom corner.

Pafos attempted to score a consolation goal on the counter-attack, but Jajá's shot was comfortably saved by Manuel Neuer. However, the hosts did manage to get on the scoreboard just before halftime, courtesy of Mislav Orsic's stunning long-range strike. Orsic brilliantly thundered the ball into the top corner after Kim Min-Jae lost possession, providing a glimmer of hope for Pafos.

Meanwhile, Bayern continued to dominate the match, adding a fourth goal just before halftime. Harry Kane netted his second goal of the match after a mazy dribble into the box, showcasing his skill and composure in front of goal. This goal further solidified Bayern's lead and put the pressure on Pafos to mount a comeback.

Despite a bright start from Pafos in the second half, Bayern inevitably started creating more chances, as Michail made strong saves to deny Olise and Aleksandar Pavlovic, before Joshua Kimmich headed the rebound from the latter just wide.

Jackson then ran in behind and forced another smart save from Michail, but Olise tucked the rebound into the top corner. That goal ensured that the Bavarians continued their streak of scoring in both halves in every game this season. The visitors even struck the post twice just before stoppage time, first through Serge Gnabry and then Jackson, but they settled for just the five goals in the end.

Pafos FC's thrilling draw against Olympiacos on matchday one, despite being reduced to 10 men, was a promising start to their Champions League campaign. However, their next match against Bayern Munich served as a harsh reality check, highlighting the immense challenge of competing at this level. The 5-1 thrashing marked the end of Pafos' four-game unbeaten streak across all competitions.

Bayern Munich's victory over Pafos FC extends their impressive unbeaten run in the Champions League. Specifically, Bayern remains unbeaten in their last 16 matches when facing a team for the first time in the competition. This streak showcases Bayern's ability to adapt and dominate against new opponents, solidifying their position as a top contender in the tournament.
