India is on the brink of wrapping up the Test series against West Indies with a convincing win, despite a spirited fightback from the touring side. Centuries from John Campbell and Shai Hope have given West Indies a glimmer of hope, but India's strong position in the match seems set to secure them the victory.

In pursuit of a modest target of 121, India have taken 63 runs for the loss of one wicket in 17.4 overs. B Sai Sudharsan (30) and KL Rahul (25) are still batting, with India needing 58 more runs to seal the win. West Indies will be looking to cause an upset on the final day, but India's current position makes them strong favorites.

West Indies were bowled out for 248 in response to India's 518-5 declared, forcing them to follow on in the Delhi Test. The team produced a much-improved batting display in the second innings, posting 390 before being bowled out. Despite the fight, West Indies were unable to avoid defeat within three days.

Campbell and Hope's Match-Saving Partnership

Campbell (115) and Hope (103) led West Indies' fightback, sharing a crucial 177-run partnership for the third wicket. Campbell survived a close lbw call against him, reviewing the decision to great success, and celebrated his maiden Test century with a six off Ravindra Jadeja.

Ravindra Jadeja brought India relief by trapping John Campbell lbw, ending the opener's impressive knock that featured three sixes and 12 fours. Shai Hope's composed innings came to an end when he chopped a delivery from Mohammed Siraj onto his stumps.

Kuldeep Yadav then struck with a three-wicket burst, dismissing Roston Chase (40) and Khary Pierre in the same over, rattling the West Indies middle order. Despite this, the West Indies tail showed resilience, putting up a spirited fight.

Justin Greaves and Jayden Seales put up a stubborn 79-run partnership for the final wicket, frustrating India. Greaves remained unbeaten on 50, while Seales scored 32. India's Jasprit Bumrah took three crucial lower-order wickets, while Kuldeep Yadav ended up with an impressive match haul of eight wickets.

Yashasvi Jaiswal made a quick start for India, hitting Jayden Seales for two fours in the first over. However, his aggressive approach didn't last long, as he stepped out to Jomel Warrican in the next over and was caught in the deep, departing for 8 runs.
