PSG's Desire Doue suffers a setback with a thigh injury, ruling him out for several weeks and casting doubt on his participation in key matches.
“It's always bad news when there are injuries. It's a strange injury...”
PSG forward Desire Doue is set to miss the trip to Bayern after suffering a thigh injury. The 20-year-old was forced off the pitch in the 62nd minute during PSG's 1-1 draw with Lorient on Wednesday due to a right thigh muscle lesion.
Doue's injury looks serious, as he was carried off on a stretcher and left the stadium on crutches. PSG confirmed that he'll be out for several weeks, dealing a blow to their attacking options. The French side will hope for a speedy recovery for their talented young forward.
“Further review of the injury will take place after the international break,” PSG said in a statement.

The injury is a setback for both PSG and Doue, who had recently recovered from a calf injury that kept him sidelined for six matches. PSG manager Luis Enrique expressed his concern, saying, “It's always bad news when there are injuries. It's a strange injury.” Further review of the injury will take place after the international break.
“It's a strange injury,” he added.
Desire Doue's return to action was short-lived, as he's already suffered another injury. The forward had just returned from a calf issue that kept him out for six matches, including the previous World Cup qualifiers for France.
This latest setback will see Doue miss key fixtures, including the Champions League clash against Bayern Munich. He's been in good form this season, scoring three goals and registering one assist in all competitions before getting hurt again. His absence will be a significant blow to both PSG and the French national team.
