Angers snatched a dramatic draw against Marseille, with Ousmane Camara scoring in the 96th minute to level the game. This result ended Marseille's streak of nine consecutive home victories and prevented them from taking the top spot in Ligue 1.
Marseille dominated possession early on, but it was Angers who created the first scoring opportunity. Sidiki Cherif released behind CJ Egan-Riley, who fired a shot that was comfortably saved by Geronimo Rulli.
Herve Koffi's first mistake nearly proved costly as the Angers goalkeeper hesitated on a pass, allowing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to block it, although the ball went wide.
Undeterred, the visitors continued to press forward, with Cherif's header from Lilian Raolisoa's pinpoint cross bouncing off the ground and sailing over the crossbar.
The visitors remained undeterred, and their persistence paid off when Nayef Aguerd misjudged a bounce. Sidiki Cherif took advantage of the error, holding off Aguerd to score his third consecutive Ligue 1 goal.
Cherif continued to cause problems for Marseille's defense, with a venomous shot saved by the goalkeeper. Carlens Arcus blocked Igor Paixao's attempt at the other end, and Lilian Raolisoa's shot was deflected behind. Despite the threats, Marseille went into halftime with a 0-1 deficit, but the crowd was growing restless, booing the team off the field.

Roberto De Zerbi made a triple change at halftime, but Marseille's defense was left uncertain again when Jordan Lefort's header seemed to go in off Egan-Riley, only for the goal to be ruled out due to a marginal offside call.
One of Marseille's substitutes made the most of the reprieve, with Robinio Vaz scoring after a blistering break, finishing a pass from Aubameyang.
Greenwood's free-kick was awkwardly saved by Koffi, but Marseille continued to pressure Angers, pushing hard for the goal.
The goal eventually came in the 70th minute when Robinio Vaz beat Lefort and Jacques Ekomie with ease before smashing the ball into the near post. Meanwhile, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had a chance to give Marseille a buffer but wasted the opportunity after Abdelli's pass was intercepted.
Marseille's moment of triumph was short-lived, as Amine Sbaï broke through the defense deep into stoppage time before being stopped. However, the loose ball fell to Ousmane Camara, who scored the equalizer, securing a third consecutive unbeaten match for Angers.
The draw left Marseille winless in their last three matches across all competitions, which will be particularly frustrating given the missed opportunity to take the top spot in Ligue 1.
