The victim died at the scene due to the severity of his injuries, while Martinez was unhurt but reportedly in shock. Emergency services, including a helicopter and ambulance, responded quickly to the incident.


The accident occurred near Inter's training center in Appiano Gentile. Martinez was driving his car when the elderly man, who was in his electric wheelchair, suddenly veered into the path of the vehicle.
