Brondby fans' protest sparks change: Danish league organizers, Divisionsforeningen, have acknowledged the issue with the club's late Sunday kick-offs and agreed to revise the schedule for next year. The decision comes after Brondby supporters threw tennis balls and coins onto the pitch during their match against OB in Odense.

The fans' demonstration was aimed at the TV schedule, which had too many Brondby matches in the fall kicking off at 8:00 pm on Sundays. The league organizers have now committed to altering the schedule to better accommodate the club's needs.
Brøndby IF har og har haft uforholdsmæssigt mange sene aftenkampe denne efterårssæson.

League organizers, Divisionsforeningen, have acknowledged that Brondby was unfairly disadvantaged by having too many matches scheduled for Sunday evenings at 8:00 pm during the fall season. This admission comes after Brondby fans staged a protest by throwing tennis balls and coins onto the pitch during their match against OB.
In response, Divisionsforeningen has agreed to adjust the scheduling for next year to avoid similar issues.
“Divisionsforeningen, who are ultimately responsible for the match organization, regret that the same club has had so many matches on Sunday at 8.00 pm, and will find a solution so that it does not happen again,” say the league organizers in a press release.
“The scheduled match times for the rest of 2025 cannot be changed, but Brondby will not have any more matches on Sunday at 8.00 pm, when the rest of the season's matches have been scheduled,” say Divisionsforeningen.
Divisionsforeningen has pledged to find a more balanced scheduling solution, ensuring no single club is disproportionately affected by late Sunday evening kick-offs. They plan to explore alternative game times and avoid clustering too many matches at 8:00 pm on Sundays for individual clubs like Brondby.
