Wolfsburg signs 19-year-old Danish Under-21 striker Adam Daghim on loan from RB Salzburg, becoming the club's fifth Danish player.

“I'm really looking forward to my time at VfL Wolfsburg. The Bundesliga is a big step for me and an exciting challenge...”

Wolfsburg has agreed to a loan deal with RB Salzburg for 19-year-old Danish Under-21 international striker Adam Daghim. Daghim becomes the fifth Dane to join Wolfsburg, following Joakim Maehle, Jesper Lindstrom, Jonas Wind, and Andreas Skov Olsen.

Wolfsburg's Sports Director Sebastian Schindzielorz expressed excitement about Daghim's potential, saying, “Adam is a young attacking talent with a lot of potential. His versatility, coupled with his immense speed, makes him particularly valuable for our attack and he is unpredictable for the opponent. We are convinced that we can develop him further at Wolfsburg and that he can help us.”

The 1.86-meter-tall attacker has a strong background, having progressed through the youth academies of FC Copenhagen and AGF. Daghim gained his first professional experience at AGF before moving to RB Salzburg, where he will now be loaned to Wolfsburg to further develop his skills.

Mohamed Daghim joined Red Bull Salzburg in the summer of 2023 and was initially loaned to FC Liefering in the Austrian 2. Liga. He later became a key player for Salzburg, making 47 competitive appearances last season, including seven Champions League and three FIFA Club World Cup appearances. Daghim scored six goals and provided five assists.

The talented left-footer has represented Denmark in youth national teams, earning 17 caps.

Daghim expressed his excitement about joining VfL Wolfsburg, saying, “I'm really looking forward to my time at VfL Wolfsburg. The Bundesliga is a big step for me and an exciting challenge. I want to quickly find my place in the team, learn a lot, and contribute my qualities to our success together.” He is eager to take on the new challenge in the Bundesliga.
