Kylian Mbappe's impressive form continued as he scored a hat-trick, leading Real Madrid to a 5-0 victory over Kairat Almaty in the Champions League. This win marked a significant bounce back for Real Madrid after their 5-2 loss to Atletico Madrid on Saturday. Mbappé's three goals took his tally to five in the competition this season and equalled Filippo Inzaghi's record for the most away hat-tricks in the UEFA Champions League.


The match between Kairat Almaty and Real Madrid kicked off with a bang, literally. Within the first minute, Kairat's young striker Dastan Satpayev had a golden opportunity to score, but his header sailed straight into the gloves of Real Madrid's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. The French shot-stopper was equal to the task, and Real Madrid breathed a sigh of relief as they escaped the early pressure.


After weathering the initial storm, Real Madrid began to assert their dominance. Vinicius Junior, known for his lightning-fast speed, made a beeline for the Kairat defense, racing past them with ease. However, his effort was slightly off-target, and the ball sailed wide of the far post. Kylian Mbappe continued to dazzle on the pitch, combining brilliantly with Vinicius Junior in a promising attack. However, in a moment of unexpected error, Mbappé slid his right-footed shot wide of Kairat's goal, leaving the crowd in Almaty surprised. Despite the miss, Real Madrid's dominance persisted, and Mbappé would soon make up for the opportunity lost.


Kairat thought they had been given a lifeline when the referee awarded them a penalty. However, the VAR intervened, reviewing the footage and determining that Valeri Gromyko had slipped and initiated contact with Dani Ceballos. The penalty claim was subsequently dismissed, much to the relief of Real Madrid's players.




As Kairat Almaty continued to struggle, Real Madrid sealed their victory with two more goals. Eduardo Camavinga scored his first-ever Champions League goal, nodding in a precise cross from Rodrygo. This goal further cemented Real Madrid's dominance, leaving Kairat reeling. Brahim Díaz added the final touch, driving in a fifth goal off the post, securing a convincing 5-0 win for Los Blancos.
