Nottingham Forest has sealed the deal for French striker Arnaud Kalimuendo from Rennes on a five-year contract. The transfer fee is reportedly around £26 million, although the exact details weren't disclosed by the club. Kalimuendo joins Nottingham Forest after an impressive Ligue 1 campaign, where he scored 18 goals and provided four assists in 34 matches for Rennes.




The 23-year-old striker has come through Paris St Germain's academy and previously played for Rennes, scoring 40 goals in 112 appearances. He was also part of the France squad that won silver at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Kalimuendo expressed his excitement about joining Nottingham Forest, stating, “This is a proud moment for me, joining a team who had a strong season last year and a club with great history.
