West Ham Announces Departures of Four Players

West Ham United confirms the departures of four key players, including goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, left-back Aaron Cresswell, right-back Vladimir Coufal, and striker Danny Ings, as their contracts expire at the end of the season.

West Ham United will bid farewell to several key players at the end of the season as their contracts expire. Left-back Aaron Cresswell, who has spent 11 years at the club, and goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, who has been with the team for seven years, will depart.

Additionally, right-back Vladimir Coufal and striker Danny Ings, both part of West Ham's 2023 UEFA Conference League-winning squad, will also leave the club after their final three league games.

“Aaron, Lukasz, Vladimir and Danny have been a pleasure to work with in my time here so far,” coach Graham Potter said in a statement. “All brilliant professionals on and off the pitch, with fantastic experience in the Premier League, and clearly loved and admired by their teammates and everyone.”

West Ham's squad is bolstered by experienced players, including defender Aaron Cresswell, 35, who has played over 300 Premier League games for the club, marking the longest unbroken run.

Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, 40, has made 215 appearances for West Ham across all competitions.

Defender Vladimir Coufal, 32, a key player since joining in 2020, has started most of West Ham's league games until this season.

Danny Ings, 32, has made 69 appearances for West Ham since joining from Aston Villa in January 2023.

“They will depart at the end of the season with our love and appreciation for their contribution during a period that brought memorable success,” West Ham United said in a statement, announcing the exits of Ings, Aaron Cresswell, Lukasz Fabianski, and Vladimir Coufal.

West Ham currently sits 17th in the Premier League table, 15 points above the relegation zone, with three games remaining.
