Real Madrid Nears Deal to Sign Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool

Real Madrid is nearing a deal to sign Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold, with negotiations ongoing for an early release from his contract. A special transfer window from June 27th to July 3rd will allow the move to take place.

Real Madrid is eager to sign Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold before the Club World Cup, which kicks off on June 18th with their match against Al Hilal in Miami. Alexander-Arnold's contract with Liverpool expires on June 30th, leaving Real Madrid with a tight deadline to secure his services before the tournament begins.

To make this possible, Real Madrid plans to negotiate with Liverpool for an early release of Alexander-Arnold from his contract. The Spanish giants have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with the player and are willing to pay a "reasonable fee" to get him on board before the Club World Cup. A special transfer window from June 1-10 allows clubs participating in the tournament to sign and register new players, which Real Madrid might utilize to bring Alexander-Arnold in.

Alexander-Arnold's potential arrival would be a significant boost for Real Madrid, especially with Dani Carvajal, their first-choice right-back, currently out with an ACL injury. Real Madrid's manager, Carlo Ancelotti, might rely on Alexander-Arnold to fill the gap, given his impressive skills and experience.

Real Madrid wants to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold before the Club World Cup, but since the tournament starts 16 days before his contract expires, they'll need to pay Liverpool for an early release. According to reports, Madrid is considering offering around €1 million to facilitate this.

The Spanish club is also open to covering the wages Liverpool owes Alexander-Arnold as part of the deal. Real Madrid is looking for a solution that works for both clubs, amid controversy surrounding the potential transfer.

FIFA has introduced a special transfer window to accommodate the Club World Cup schedule. This window will be open from June 27th to July 3rd, allowing clubs to make necessary squad adjustments.

The window will enable Trent Alexander-Arnold to officially join Real Madrid, while also ensuring Liverpool receives some compensation for his departure, providing a solution for both clubs.
