Julie Loop is set to assume the role of assistant coach after serving as interim coach for the final matches of the previous season, which saw Kolding relegated from Herreligaen. According to Chairman Mads Aarestrup, the decision to appoint Loop is closely tied to the club's strategic direction.
“It has been a priority for us to find a profile that is largely in harmony with the overall strategy for the journey we are facing. In this respect, Anders appears as an obvious choice, not least thanks to his significant commitment and wealth of ideas, which we have great confidence, can contribute to us regaining our position in the best league in Denmark.”
Anders Eggert is eager to take on his new role as head coach and restore KIF Kolding to its former glory. “I am both proud and excited to step into the role of head coach and feel that the timing is perfect,” Eggert says.
He adds, “The club rests on a solid foundation in the parent club, which contains a large and ambitious youth department and a strong academy. We will work purposefully with development – technically, tactically and mentally – and bring modern, innovative handball in play to bring KIF Kolding forward, and over time back to where the club belongs.”
