Arsenal Frustrated

Donnarumma's impressive display left Arsenal frustrated, as they struggled to breach the PSG goalkeeper and overcome a 1-0 deficit from the first leg. Donnarumma described the match as “beautiful” after PSG secured their spot in the Champions League final.

Gianluigi Donnarumma produced a stunning display, making two exceptional saves, including an instinctive block from Gabriel Martinelli's close-range effort and an even more impressive stop from Martin Odegaard's low shot.

Donnarumma described the match as “beautiful,” praising his save on Odegaard, saying, “My save today on Odegaard? It was very nice, the ball went between the legs of one of my teammates. I work a lot on low balls, but Mother Nature also had her say.”

PSG took control with goals from Fabian Ruiz and Achraf Hakimi, while Gianluigi Donnarumma made crucial saves, including one against Bukayo Saka. Saka did eventually score, but it was too late to change the outcome.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta credited Donnarumma's performance, saying, “When you look at the two games, who has been their best player on the pitch has been the goalkeeper. He's made a difference for them in the tie.”

Gianluigi Donnarumma was instrumental in PSG's success, producing heroics in both legs of the semi-final. In the first leg, he made stunning saves to protect PSG's lead, and he repeated his form in the second leg.

Arsenal forward Mikel Merino praised Donnarumma's performance, saying, “He showed why he's an elite goalkeeper; he made some incredible saves and kept them in the game.” Donnarumma will now look to seal a Champions League title in his first final on May 31 against Inter.

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice praised Gianluigi Donnarumma's performance, saying, “Over the two legs, we could have scored three or four goals but Donnarumma's been unbelievable.”

Donnarumma's impressive display included five saves, as well as his effective command of the penalty area, where he comfortably dealt with Arsenal's long balls and throw-ins into crowded areas, helping PSG stay secure and advance to the Champions League final.

Gianluigi Donnarumma remained humble after his impressive performance, choosing to praise another goalkeeper instead.

“I think yesterday (Sommer) was very good, he made more saves than me. He played a fantastic match, it was a great game,” Donnarumma said, showing respect for Inter Milan's Yann Sommer.
