“The physiotherapist (Graziano Fiorita), who had been with the Giallorossi for over 20 years, was with the team at their training camp in Coccaglio,” Lecce said in a statement, paying tribute to Fiorita's dedication and service to the club.
Lecce announced that their scheduled match against Atalanta would be postponed due to the death of their physiotherapist. “The team will immediately return to Lecce, as tomorrow’s scheduled match against Atalanta will be postponed.”

The news comes as Lecce fights to avoid relegation, currently sitting 17th with 26 points, just a point above the drop zone with five matches left to play. Atalanta, meanwhile, are third in Serie A with 64 points, trailing leaders Inter Milan by seven points.
