Rüdiger's troubles continued after Saturday's Copa del Rey final, where he was sent off for reacting angrily to a foul call against him by Kylian Mbappe, shortly after Barcelona took the lead in extra time.
Rüdiger, who has since apologized, faces a potential suspension of 4 to 12 matches. Real Madrid's league campaign heats up with Celta Vigo coming to town this Sunday, as Los Blancos trail Barcelona by four points with five matches left.
