EPL: Bournemouth Edges Fulham 1-0 in Premier League Thriller
Bournemouth defeated Fulham 1-0 in the Premier League thanks to Antoine Semenyo's record-breaking goal, leapfrogging their opponents in the race for European places.
Bournemouth secured a crucial 1-0 win over Fulham in the Premier League, thanks to a record-breaking goal from Antoine Semenyo. The Cherries ended a four-game losing streak at the Vitality Stadium and leapfrogged their opponents in the race for European places.
The home team made a strong start, and their efforts paid off just 53 seconds in. Antoine Semenyo drove into the box after Antonee Robinson failed to block a Bournemouth counter-attack and drilled a low shot into the bottom corner, giving Bournemouth the lead.

Bournemouth's luck was tested just after taking the lead, as they were denied by the crossbar for the 21st time this season. Milos Kerkez's deep cross was nodded back across goal by Alex Scott, and Evanilson failed to keep his shot down from inside the six-yard box, hitting the crossbar instead.
Fulham took advantage of Bournemouth's profligacy as the half wore on. Rodrigo Muniz spurned two half-chances before Ryan Sessegnon slipped past his marker and was found by Alex Iwobi. However, Sessegnon's free header went straight at Kepa Arrizabalaga in the Bournemouth goal.
Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno made key saves to keep his team in the game. He denied Alex Scott with a fingertip save at halftime and then saved a close-range shot from Tyler Adams shortly after the break. The second half started slowly, but Fulham eventually came to life with the introduction of Adama Traore and Raul Jimenez.

Kepa Arrizabalaga made several crucial saves, palming away strikes from Alex Iwobi, Sasa Lukic, and Tom Cairney. Despite Fulham's late pressure, Bournemouth held on to secure a 1-0 win, reigniting their season and propelling them into eighth place. The loss continued Fulham's inconsistent form under Marco Silva, with the team alternating between wins and defeats for eight consecutive games.
