Tudor's Juventus Revolution: 'We Must Attack with Balance'

New Juventus manager Igor Tudor has outlined his vision for the club, emphasizing the need for quick growth and a balanced attacking style.

Igor Tudor, the newly appointed manager of Juventus, emphasized the need for immediate tactical changes during his first press conference on Thursday. Tudor's primary focus is to revitalize the team's performance, which has been underwhelming this season.

Tudor's appointment as Juventus manager comes on the heels of Thiago Motta's dismissal on Sunday. Motta's departure was prompted by the team's consecutive heavy defeats, which have left Juventus fifth in Serie A, just one point shy of the top four. As a former Croatia centre-back, Tudor brings a wealth of experience to his new role, and his primary objective is to steer the team back on track.

Tudor's first match in charge will be against Genoa, and he will be looking to make a positive impact from the outset. With the team's current position in Serie A, every match counts, and Tudor will be eager to implement his tactical changes and secure a much-needed win.

Igor Tudor, the new Juventus manager, is well aware of the pressure to deliver results quickly. His first match in charge will be against Genoa on Saturday, and he's eager to make a positive impact. “We've started down a path of change with many new players, and this may have slowed the growth of the team. But when you're at Juve, you have to win and grow quickly,” Tudor emphasized during a press conference.

Tudor outlined his vision for the team, stressing the importance of balance and attack. He wants Juventus to be an attacking team, but not at the expense of defensive solidity. “We must not give up on anything. I want people to have fun. I always want to score one more goal. I like attacking with many (players), but I also don't want to concede goals,” Tudor explained. He also highlighted the need for a complete approach to the game. “The work must be complete. Football must go in a direction that makes it even more interesting, but we must not neglect balance.”

Tudor acknowledged that implementing his vision will take time. He's not looking to compare his Juventus team to others, instead focusing on his own approach. “I can't compare my Juve to others. I do my job. On Saturday, I hope to show the spirit that should never be missing. From a tactical point of view, it will take two to three weeks,” Tudor said. He's looking to instill a sense of responsibility among his players, with Manuel Locatelli set to remain as captain. “Everyone needs to take responsibility. The captain will remain (Manuel) Locatelli. He has the right qualities to be the captain.”
