Rohit Sharma Ready to Face New Zealand After Recovering from Injury

India captain Rohit Sharma has been declared fit for the team's upcoming match against New Zealand, after recovering from a hamstring injury.

India captain Rohit Sharma has been deemed fit for the team's upcoming clash with New Zealand, according to assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate. Sharma had picked up a hamstring injury during India's win over Pakistan in the Champions Trophy last Sunday.

During the match against Pakistan, Sharma briefly left the field after sustaining the injury while fielding. However, he later returned to score a quick 20, helping India secure a six-wicket victory and advance to the semi-finals. Providing an update on Sharma's condition, Ten Doeschate said, “He's all right. It's an injury he's had before, so he knows how to manage it really well.”
