Michail Antonio Set to Return to England After Dubai Rehab Stint

Michail Antonio is nearing a return to training with West Ham after spending two weeks in Dubai for warm-weather rehabilitation following a car accident in December.

West Ham United striker Michail Antonio is poised to return to England this weekend, marking the end of his two-week warm-weather fitness training stint in Dubai. The 34-year-old Jamaica international has been diligently working on his rehabilitation, focusing on weight training and gym-based exercises to regain strength and mobility.

Antonio's road to recovery has been a long and challenging one, following a devastating car accident in December that left him with a broken leg. The incident was particularly harrowing, as Antonio was trapped in his vehicle and required assistance to escape. He subsequently spent 24 days in the hospital before embarking on his rehabilitation program. Antonio's progress has been steady, and his recent time in Dubai has been a crucial step in his journey back to full fitness.

With his Dubai rehabilitation stint coming to a close, Antonio is now set to return to the UK, where he will continue his recovery under the guidance of West Ham's medical team. This next phase of his rehabilitation will be crucial in determining his readiness to return to the pitch and rejoin his West Ham teammates.
