Van de Ven Back in Training as Tottenham Prepare for Europa League Clash
Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a boost with the return of centre-back Micky van de Ven to training after recovering from a hamstring injury.
Tottenham Hotspur has received a much-needed boost with the return of centre-back Micky van de Ven to training. The 23-year-old Dutchman has recovered from a hamstring injury that had kept him sidelined since early December, when he suffered the injury during Spurs' 4-3 home loss to Chelsea in the London derby.

Van de Ven's return to training is a welcome relief for Tottenham, who have been struggling with a lengthy injury list. The team has been without several key players, including goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, centre-back Cristian Romero, and striker Dominic Solanke. This has contributed to their poor run of form, with only one win in their last 11 Premier League matches, leaving them 15th out of 20 teams.
Tottenham's next match is against Swedish side IF Elfsborg in the Europa League on Thursday. With Van de Ven's return to training, manager Ange Postecoglou may have more options available for the upcoming match. However, it remains to be seen whether Van de Ven will be fit enough to start or feature in the game.
