Serie A: Torino's Home Struggles Continue with Parma Draw

Parma earned a valuable point on the road, denying Torino a much-needed home win in a closely contested 0-0 draw.

Torino and Parma played out a draw, maintaining their comfortable mid-table positions. The two teams went into the match separated by just two points, marking the midway stage of the season. Che Adams had the best scoring opportunity, but his effort was palmed off the line, ensuring the match ended level.

Torino's strong start to the season had lost momentum due to an injury crisis that ruled out several key players. Duvan Zapata, Zanos Savva, Perr Schuurs, and Emirhan Ilkhan were all sidelined, depriving Toro of their usual depth and firepower.

Parma, on the other hand, were looking to build on their morale-boosting victory away to Monza. However, they were also missing several players due to injury, including Dennis Man, Nahuel Estevez, Adrian Bernabé, Alessandro Circati, Gabriel Charpentier, Mateusz Kowalski, Yordan Osorio, and Gianluca Di Chiara. Despite the absences, Parma held their own against Torino, securing a valuable point.

Torino's Che Adams came close to scoring with a header from Nikola Vlasic's cross, but Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki made a spectacular one-handed save to push the ball off the line. The save was crucial in preventing Torino from taking the lead.

Parma thought they had scored moments later, but their celebrations were short-lived as Matteo Cancellieri was flagged offside. Cancellieri had rolled the ball across the box for Valentin Mihaila to tap in, but the assistant referee's raised flag denied Parma the goal.

Yann Karamoh had a promising opportunity for Torino, but he hesitated too long, allowing Suzuki to rush out and disrupt the attack. Later, Suzuki made another vital save, this time using his fingertips to deny Adams' volley from 10 yards out. The goalkeeper's heroics continued to keep the score level.

Parma made a tactical change at halftime, replacing Samuele Ricci with Ange Yoann Bonny due to a muscular issue. The substitution paid off as Bonny immediately made an impact, forcing Torino goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic to make a spectacular fingertip save to deny his powerful shot.

Bonny continued to make his presence felt, sending Valentin Mihaila down the right flank. Mihaila unleashed another potent finish, but it crashed against the upright, marking the second time Parma had hit the woodwork. As the match intensified, Che Adams had an effort blocked inside the penalty area, losing his footing in the process.

The match ended in a thrilling fashion, with Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki making a desperate save on Karol Linetty's strike with the last kick of the game. The draw extended Torino's winless run at home, a streak that continues to plague the team.
