Lewis Hamilton Crashes 2023 Ferrari During Testing in Barcelona

Lewis Hamilton crashed a 2023 Ferrari on the second day of testing in Barcelona, but fortunately emerged unhurt from the incident.

Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time Formula One world champion, was involved in a crash on the second day of testing a 2023 Ferrari car at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya on Wednesday. Fortunately, Hamilton emerged unhurt from the incident. The Italian website (link unavailable) reported that Hamilton crashed into the barriers at the end of a lap, resulting in damage to the suspension and bodywork.

Hamilton, 40, is still adapting to his new team and surroundings after leaving Mercedes. As part of his transition, he has been testing the 2023 Ferrari car, getting in some laps behind closed doors alongside teammate Charles Leclerc. Under current rules, teams are allowed a limited amount of track mileage in older F1 cars, enabling Hamilton to gain valuable experience in his new ride.
