The Italian website (link unavailable) reported that Hamilton crashed into the barriers at the end of a lap, resulting in damage to the suspension and bodywork.

Hamilton, 40, is still adapting to his new team and surroundings after leaving Mercedes. As part of his transition, he has been testing the 2023 Ferrari car, getting in some laps behind closed doors alongside teammate Charles Leclerc. Under current rules, teams are allowed a limited amount of track mileage in older F1 cars, enabling Hamilton to gain valuable experience in his new ride.
