Liverpool star Mo Salah discusses his contract negotiations, Ballon d'Or aspirations, and the team's Premier League goals, while also scoring in a 5-0 win over West Ham United.

Mo Salah has offered a candid update on his ongoing contract talks with Liverpool, stating that negotiations are still in their early stages. When asked about the progress of discussions, Salah replied, “We are far away from that.” He also expressed his reluctance to fuel speculation, adding, “I don't wanna put stuff in the media and people talk about it.”

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future at Anfield, Salah remains focused on the team's objectives. When questioned about his individual ambitions, including the Ballon d'Or, Salah emphasized his commitment to Liverpool's success. “I'm not thinking about Ballon d'Or, I want to win the Premier League,” he asserted. “I will do my best for the team to win a trophy.”

Salah's comments come as Liverpool continue their pursuit of Premier League glory. The Egyptian forward acknowledged the challenges that lie ahead, warning that the team must remain “humble and focused” in the face of stiff competition. “There are other teams who want to catch up with us, we have to stay humble and focused,” he cautioned.

Salah's words were backed up by his actions on the pitch, as he scored one of Liverpool's five goals in a resounding 5-0 away victory over West Ham United. The win maintains Liverpool's momentum in the Premier League, and Salah will be eager to continue making significant contributions to the team's success.
