OGC Nice, reduced to 10 men, staged a late comeback to secure a draw against FC Twente in the UEFA Europa League, extending their winless run in the competition.

The Allianz Riviera's sparse attendance mirrored the lethargic atmosphere on the pitch for much of the match, with the stadium's half-empty stands reflecting the team's evident fatigue.

A momentary lapse in focus from Moise Bombito, allowing Youri Regeer to exploit the space between himself and goalkeeper Marcin Bulka, epitomized Nice's lackluster performance.

Nice goalkeeper Bulka temporarily preserved the stalemate with a crucial save, but minutes later, Daan Rots broke the deadlock with a precise half-volley.

Nice's response was muted, and Rots nearly doubled his tally, only to be denied by Bulka's impressive tip-over.

Sofiane Diop fashioned Nice's sole clear-cut opportunity, latching onto Tanguy Ndombélé's pass and unleashing a swiveling shot. Przemyslaw Tyton intervened, diverting the goal-bound effort.

Despite introducing Mohamed-Ali Cho and Jonathan Clauss at halftime, Nice's fortunes didn't shift immediately.

Twente's Michel Vlap struck the post from distance before Sam Lammers extended their lead with a powerful strike.

Nice manager Franck Haise made a triple substitution, and Jérémie Boga instantly impacted, curling the ball into the far corner with his first touch.

However, Sofiane Diop's dismissal for a contentious challenge on Regeer halted Nice's momentum.

Regeer's mis-hit cross nearly sealed the win, but it cannoned off the bar, sustaining Nice's slim hopes.

Jonathan Clauss almost leveled with a free-kick, and shortly after, he supplied Mohamed-Ali Cho at the back post, allowing him to easily equalize.

The match, previously lacking intensity and quality, sparked to life after the equalizer, with Evann Guessand creating a half-chance.

Nice seized the initiative after Bart Van Rooij's 90th-minute red card, pressing for a winner, but ultimately couldn't capitalize.

Les Aiglons, though still winless, halted their two-game losing streak in the Europa League.
