Serie A: Inzaghi Warns Inter Milan of Tough Fiorentina Test

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has warned his team to expect a tough match against Fiorentina, who are on a seven-game winning streak in Serie A.

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi emphasized the importance of a strong performance from his team as they prepare to face in-form Fiorentina in Serie A on Sunday. Inzaghi acknowledged that Fiorentina's recent run of form makes them a formidable opponent.

Both Inter Milan and Fiorentina return to Serie A action after enjoying success in their respective European campaigns. Inter Milan currently sits second in their Champions League group, while Fiorentina occupies sixth place in the Europa Conference League.

Inter Milan and Fiorentina are evenly matched in Serie A, with both teams having accumulated 28 points. Inter currently occupies third place, while Fiorentina sits in fourth, just a point behind league leaders Napoli.

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi is aware of the challenge that awaits his team when they face Fiorentina on Sunday. “We know that both we and Fiorentina have been playing in Europe. They have a good coach and skilled players, Inter will have to put on a big performance,” Inzaghi said in an interview with Inter TV.

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi's assertion that his team will need to put on a big performance against Fiorentina is backed up by the hosts' impressive recent form. Fiorentina have won their last seven Serie A matches and are on the verge of achieving a historic milestone - winning eight top-flight games in a row for the first time since 1960.

Inzaghi is well aware of the challenge that Fiorentina pose and has warned his team to be prepared for a tough encounter. “It will be a very tough match and a lot will depend on our approach; we know that they come off the back of seven consecutive wins and so, without a doubt, we’re up against a tough side,” Inzaghi added, highlighting the importance of a strong team performance.

“We’re working both at the front and the back, all of Inter are working well as a side. For us, the aim is always to keep improving together”  he said.

“By thinking game to game, we will need to concentrate on each fixture, trying to prepare for every last one.”
