His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, has made a significant appointment, naming 35-year-old Alhaji Hussaini Salisu Muhammed as the new Seriki Hausa of Ifeland on Friday, October 18. This decision comes after the passing of the previous Seriki Hausa, who left a leadership void within the Hausa community about a month ago.
Alhaji Muhammed, a distinguished graduate of The Polytechnic of Ibadan, will now take on the crucial role of leading the Hausa community in Ile-Ife. His appointment was formally announced by Otunba Moses Olafare, Director of Media and Public Affairs at the Ooni's Palace in Ile-Ife.
