A 14-year-old boy commits a shocking crime in Bosnia, killing one police officer and injuring another.




A shocking attack occurred at a police station in Bosnia on Thursday, October 24, when a 14-year-old boy broke in and stabbed two officers. One officer tragically lost their life, while the other suffered severe injuries.


The incident took place in Bosanska Krupa, approximately 186 miles northwest of Sarajevo. Ramo Isak, Interior Minister of the Bosniak-Croat federation, confirmed the details.


“As a result of the attack, one officer has sadly lost their life, and another is injured,” Minister Isak stated.


According to police spokesman Adnan Beganovic, the wounded officer's condition is critical, with life-threatening injuries, and is currently receiving medical treatment.


The regional police chief, Adnan Habibija, confirmed the arrest of a 14-year-old boy, born in 2009, who fatally stabbed a police officer and injured another in Bosnia. Prosecutors have launched an investigation into the shocking incident, though the motivations behind the attack remain unclear.


“This is very sad and what surprised us is that it concerns a minor aged 14 who dared attack officers in a police station. It's an alarm bell for our society,” Habibija stated.


Armin Halitovic, mayor of the small town with approximately 11,000 residents, expressed the community's shock. "“We are a peaceful and tolerant town,” Halitovic emphasized, highlighting the incident's devastating impact on local residents.
