EPL: Leicester Clinches First Premier League Win, Beats Bournemouth 1-0

Leicester City earns first Premier League win, defeating Bournemouth 1-0 via Facundo Buonanotte's strike.

Leicester City secured their first Premier League win of the season, defeating Bournemouth 1-0 at home thanks to Facundo Buonanotte's impressive strike.

The 19-year-old Argentine midfielder slalomed through Bournemouth's midfield and finished emphatically past Kepa Arrizabalaga in the 16th minute.

Despite Bournemouth's dominance in the second half, Leicester held on for the win. Evanilson's headed goal was disallowed for offside, and the Cherries hit the crossbar through Dango Ouattara.

Leicester boss Steve Cooper made changes, bringing in Jordan Ayew for Harry Winks, while Bournemouth's Andoni Iraola opted for Justin Kluivert over Ouattara.

Buonanotte shone throughout, creating chances for Jamie Vardy and nearly scoring again. Bournemouth's pressure intensified in stoppage time, but Leicester clung on for their first win under Cooper.
