EFCC Declares Sunday Peter Adu Wanted: 46-Year-Old Delta State Indigene Sought for False Pretense, Stealing
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Sunday Peter Adu wanted for allegedly obtaining money under false pretense and stealing. Adu, 46, is from Delta State, and his last known location was in Lagos State.
Adu's case isn't isolated, as the EFCC has been actively pursuing individuals accused of financial crimes. For instance, the agency recently arrested Chike Nosa Agada, an unlicensed foreign exchange dealer, for alleged N2 billion fraud in Lagos. Additionally, the EFCC arraigned a man for N340 million fraud in Enugu, highlighting the commission's efforts to tackle financial crimes nationwide.
The statement declaring him wanted read: “The public is hereby notified that SUNDAY PETER ADU, whose photograph appears above is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in an alleged case of Obtaining Money under False Pretense, and Stealing.
“Adu, 46, is an indigene of Delta State and his last known address is: 154 Ipaja Road. Baruwa, Alimosho, Lagos State.”
The EFCC is urging anyone with information on Adu's whereabouts to contact them.
