President Bola Tinubu has given the green light to seven new director appointments for the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). This exciting development was announced by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, in a statement released on Friday.

Here are the newly appointed directors:

• Director of News: Ayo Adewuyi (reappointed)
• Director of Special Duties: Ibrahim Aliyu
• Director of Administration and Training: Muhammed Mustapha
• Director of Programmes: Tari Taylaur
• Director of Engineering: Sadique Omeiza

These appointments are a significant move by President Tinubu, who has been making waves in the country with recent signings, including the Minimum Wage Act (Amendment) Bill into law, setting the new national minimum wage at N70,000. With these new director appointments, the NTA is poised for growth and improvement under the leadership of President Tinubu.

Apinke Effiong, a financial marketing expert with extensive experience in treasury management, accounting, and financial reporting, is now the NTA Director of Finance. With her expertise, Effiong is well-equipped to oversee NTA's financial operations and ensure its stability.

Tinubu has also appointed Oluwakemi Fashina as the NTA Director of Marketing. As an integrated marketing communications professional and chartered marketer, Fashina brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role.
