Bishop David Oyedepo's 70th birthday celebration was a star-studded event that brought together prominent men and women of God, public officials, and other dignitaries at the Living Faith Church headquarters in Ota, Ogun State. The guest list was impressive, featuring former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and former Ogun State Governor Gbenga Daniel. Also in attendance were Professor Jerry Gana and the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, among others.


Bishop Oyedepo, the founder and presiding bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel International, has made significant contributions to education and faith in Nigeria. His church has grown to become one of the largest in Africa, with branches in over 300 cities across Nigeria and 45 African nations, as well as in Dubai, the UK, Europe, Asia, the US, and Canada.


As a respected leader, Bishop Oyedepo has received numerous awards and recognitions for his work, including being named the richest pastor in Nigeria by Forbes magazine in 2011. He has also been hailed for his commitment to education, exemplified by his founding of Covenant University and Landmark University.
