Transfer: Lazio Director Fabiani Dismisses James Rodriguez Transfer Rumors

Lazio director Igli Tare's right-hand man, Fabiani, rejects speculation linking James Rodriguez to the club, citing his age, injury record, and lack of interest.

Lazio director Fabiani has categorically denied rumors linking James Rodriguez to the Italian club, labeling them as “fake” and “impossible.” In an interview with Radio Sei, Fabiani expressed strong doubts about the Colombian midfielder's suitability for Lazio.

Lazio director Fabiani said: “I'd never sign James Rodriguez, impossible. The rumours are fake.

“He's 33 and never played more than 12/13 games in the recent years... he did well in Copa América but we are not even interested in signing James,” told Radio Sei.

Fabiani highlighted Rodriguez's age (33) and his recent injury-plagued seasons, where he has rarely played more than 12-13 games. While acknowledging his impressive performances in the Copa América, Fabiani emphasized that Lazio is not interested in signing him.

This statement puts an end to speculation surrounding Rodriguez's potential move to Lazio, leaving fans to wonder where the midfielder will end up next. With his talent and experience, Rodriguez is likely to attract interest from other clubs, but for now, Lazio is not an option.
