New Arsenal signing Riccardo Calafiori has opened up about his decision to join the Gunners, citing the club's project as the best fit for his future. In an interview, the young Italian defender expressed his excitement about joining Arsenal, stating, “It's just the best project for myself for the next years.”

Calafiori revealed that he had extensive conversations with coach Mikel Arteta and technical director Edu, who played a significant role in convincing him to make the move. However, he admitted that he was already sold on the idea of joining Arsenal, saying, “I was already convinced by myself!”

The 21-year-old also confessed that playing in the Premier League has been a dream of his since he was 12 years old. With his dream now a reality, Calafiori exclaimed, “I can't wait to get started with his new team.”
