Transfer: Amario Cozier-Duberry Signs with Brighton on Four-Year Deal
Brighton have secured the signing of Amario Cozier-Duberry, a talented attacking midfielder from Arsenal, on a four-year contract, bolstering their squad for the upcoming season.
Brighton have announced the signing of Amario Cozier-Duberry, a promising attacking midfielder from Arsenal, on a four-year deal. The 19-year-old player, who was a free agent after his contract with Arsenal expired, has joined Brighton as their third summer signing, following Yankuba Minteh and Mats Wieffer.
Cozier-Duberry, who was part of Arsenal's academy since 2019, had declined a new contract offer from the Gunners, leading to his departure. He has represented England at various youth levels, including Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, and Under-19.
David Weir, Brighton's technical director, expressed his pleasure in bringing Cozier-Duberry to the club, highlighting the player's attributes and potential for growth in their environment. Cozier-Duberry will join Brighton's squad for their pre-season tour of Japan and will aim to secure a spot in the first team for their Premier League campaign, which begins on August 17 against Everton.
