Divine Okubor, also known as Rema, was scheduled to perform at Anant Ambani's wedding. Anant is the son of Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani.
Anant and his longtime love Radhika Merchant tied the knot at the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Center, Mumbai.
For the privilege of singing his hit song “Calm Down” at the wedding, Rema was pai $3 million.
The Afrobeats singer was in India.
Rema is seen in the brief video approaching a privately hired aircraft. He has a black cloth covering his face and is dressed entirely in black.
Mukesh is among the richest men in the world and the richest man in Asia. The estimated cost of his son's wedding is close to $600 million.
The family has been throwing extravagant parties since March, and this four-day wedding extravaganza in Mumbai City is the last one.
According to reports, Justin Bieber received $10 million to play at the family's exclusive pre-wedding performance last week.
Prominent attendees of the wedding today include US Secretary of State Tony Blair, former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
