Manchester United have made a bid for Napoli's Victor Osimhen, offering a player plus cash deal that includes Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund. Osimhen, who scored 17 goals last season despite injuries, is a top target for the Red Devils as they seek to bolster their attack.
The 25-year-old Nigerian striker has been linked to several clubs, including Chelsea, Arsenal, and PSG, but Manchester United are determined to sign him. Napoli are open to a swap deal, but their new coach Antonio Conte is also interested in bringing in Romelu Lukaku.
Hojlund, who joined Manchester United last season, had a decent debut campaign under Erik Ten Haag, making his potential departure a surprise. Meanwhile, Napoli have made up their mind to sell Osimhen, but his destination is still uncertain.
Manchester United have also held positive talks with Bologna striker Joshua Orobosa Zirkzee, who could be available for around €45m. Osimhen is eager to prove himself in the English Premier League, and it remains to be seen which club he will ultimately join.
