Pep Guardiola reveals uncertainty over Éderson's future, as the goalkeeper has accepted a move to Al Ittihad but Manchester City and the Saudi club have yet to agree on a transfer fee.

Pep Guardiola has cast doubt on Éderson's future at Manchester City, stating that the goalkeeper must make a decision regarding his career. This comes after reports emerged that Éderson has already accepted an offer to join Al Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League, with the move initially agreed upon in May.

However, the transfer has stalled due to a disagreement over the transfer fee. Manchester City is holding out for a substantial sum, believed to be between €50m and €60m, to allow the Brazilian goalkeeper to depart. Al Ittihad has yet to meet this valuation, leaving Éderson's future in limbo.

Pep Guardiola said: “I don't know if Éderson will stay.

“He has to make a decision.”

Guardiola's comments suggest that Éderson's destiny lies in his own hands, but the situation remains complex. If an agreement is reached, Éderson will depart Manchester City, bringing an end to his successful spell at the club. However, if the transfer fee cannot be agreed upon, Éderson may be forced to remain at the Etihad Stadium.

As the situation unfolds, Manchester City fans await the outcome, hoping to retain their talented goalkeeper. However, if Éderson does depart, the club will need to secure a suitable replacement to maintain their competitive edge.
