Arsenal have reached an agreement with Lazio to sign Nuno Tavares on loan with an obligation to buy, with a fee in the region of €7-8 million. The deal also includes a sell-on clause, ensuring the Gunners will receive a percentage of any future transfer fee.
While the club-to-club agreement is in place, negotiations are ongoing with Tavares' agents to finalize personal terms. Once completed, the Portuguese left-back will join Lazio on an initial loan deal, with a permanent transfer set to follow.
Tavares, who has made 27 appearances for Arsenal since joining in 2021, will now have the opportunity to gain more regular playing time in Serie A.
