Howard University revokes Diddy's honorary degree due to s3xual assault allegations, stripping him of all associated honors and benefits.
Sean Combs, aka Diddy, has had his honorary degree from Howard University revoked due to multiple allegations of s3xual assault. The university's Board of Trustees has unanimously approved the revocation of the degree, which was awarded in 2014. As a result, all honors and benefits associated with the degree are forfeited, and Diddy's name will be removed from all records of Howard University honorary degree holders.

Diddy is currently under investigation following the release of a video allegedly showing him abusing his former girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, in a hotel corridor in 2016. The newly discovered footage, obtained exclusively by CNN, shows Diddy chasing after Ventura while wearing only a towel and socks. Ventura filed a lawsuit against the music mogul in November, which is supported by this footage. Although Diddy issued an apology in May, he did not specifically mention Ventura, but described his behavior as “reprehensible.”
He said, “It's so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that. I was f-ed up - I hit rock bottom - but I make no excuses. My behaviour in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video.”
