Former Super Eagles Player Cautions Osimhen on Behavior

Ex-Super Eagles player, Taribo West, warns Victor Osimhen about the dangers of bad behavior after Osimhen's verbal attack on former coach, Finidi George, sharing how his own misbehavior cost him transfers to Manchester United and Arsenal.

Former Super Eagles player, Taribo West, has warned Victor Osimhen, Nigeria's first-choice striker, about the dangers of bad behavior after Osimhen's recent verbal attack on former coach, Finidi George. Osimhen had responded to a story attributed to Finidi on Instagram, questioning his dedication to the team due to his absence from recent games.

Taribo West, a former Super Eagles defender, has cautioned Osimhen to settle down and avoid repeating his mistake. West revealed that his own misbehavior had cost him transfers to top clubs like Manchester United and Arsenal, with coaches deeming him too disruptive for their teams.

West recalled an incident where he threw his shirt at then Inter Milan coach, Mircea Lucescu, after being substituted off in a match against Vicenza. He claimed this action lost him a transfer to Arsenal, with Arsene Wenger referencing the incident. Similarly, Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United had also turned down the opportunity to sign him due to the same incident.

Taribo West's warning to Osimhen serves as a reminder of the importance of good conduct and the potential consequences of bad behavior. As a senior player, Osimhen is expected to set an example for his teammates and maintain a professional attitude, both on and off the pitch.
