EPL: Tosin Adarabioyo Joins Chelsea: 'I'm Here to Win' Says New Signing
Chelsea FC confirms Tosin Adarabioyo as their first summer signing, joining on a four-year deal from Fulham. The centre-back expresses his excitement to return to his roots and win trophies with the Blues.
Chelsea FC has officially announced the signing of Tosin Adarabioyo, a talented centre-back who joins the club as a free agent from Fulham. The 25-year-old has put pen to paper on a four-year contract, marking the Blues' first signing of the summer transfer window.
Adarabioyo's connection to Chelsea goes beyond just being a new signing. Born just three miles away from Stamford Bridge, he made his professional debut at the iconic stadium, making this move a “full-circle moment” for him.
He said: “Chelsea is a huge club and this is a full-circle moment for me.
“I was born three miles away from Stamford Bridge and made my professional debut there.
“I'm very excited and looking forward to helping push the club in the direction we want to go.”
In an interview, Tosin expressed his excitement and ambition, saying, “I'm here at Chelsea to win, I want to win.” He also revealed that he sought advice from current Chelsea players Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer, who had nothing but positive things to say about the club and its project.
“Before confirming the move, I gave Sterling and Cole Pammer a call and they had nothing but positive things to say about the club and the project,” he added
Tosin's determination to succeed and bring silverware to Chelsea aligns with the club's own ambitions. His addition to the squad strengthens the team's defensive line and injects fresh energy into the dressing room.
Welcome to Chelsea, Tosin Adarabioyo! We look forward to seeing you shine at Stamford Bridge.
