THE popular Landmark Beach in Victoria Island, Lagos State, is undergoing a huge shift as the demolition of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway began.

Landmark Africa took to its X account on Wednesday to lament the beach's devastation following demolition, posting a before-and-after photo.

The resort wrote: “What a journey! What we built in 6 years was destroyed in 6 hours, We are overwhelmed by the show of support we have received from Landmark Citizens and all our partners.

“Thank you for standing with us and believing in our mission and cause so far. This is not the end!”
